Wanting new fresh, space, we went for a traditional feel and with pops of color and accents that are a nod to the original design. To highlight the clients amazing art collection, we kept the rest of the look clean and bright. We modernized many of the clients existing pieces by reupholstering them and removing out of style details.

After a gut renovation of this Upper-West Side two bedroom, the client wanted to update the design and style of her home. Using pieces from her amazing art nouveau collection and integrating them with modern ones, perfectly curated accents, and rich colours for the wall treatments gives the apartment a fresh and timeless feel.

 
 
 

BOHO CHIC, Upstate new york

A young couples weekend house needed a facelift and they wanted to give it a farmhouse chic feel, while making sure their own personality came through. By layering textures, patterns and neutral walls, it was easy to showcase the clients diverse styles and antique pieces with a contemporary aesthetic and make it the perfect getaway home.

 
 
 

Bond Street Guest Room, Manhattan

The rest of this west village apartment was designed by Axel Vervoordt so when the clients wanted to finish the guest room it was important to keep the design consistent. They fell in love with this rich blue wall color and the beautiful rug. Integrating all of these elements with lush fabrics and modern pieces makes the room a decadent escape for any guest who comes to visit.

 
 
 

Brooklyn Condos, Brooklyn NY

A new development in downtown Brooklyn, wanted to style three finished apartments to showcase finished apartments to prospective to buyers. A non-traditional floor plan lent itself to highlighting the uniqueness of the apartments and how buyers could customize them with their own style and needs. Lots of color and fun modern finishes bring youth and flexibility to the spaces; perfect for people who want a home that evolves with their lives.

 
 
 

Downtown Dream DeN, Manhattan

Nestled in the heart of Battery Park, this apartment was once a cramped three bedroom apartment with little to no natural light. Taking down one major wall allowed for a new and open floor plan with loads of natural lighting. The Clients wanted to integrate their mid-century furniture collection into a clean look with pops of color from accents and details. Their love of travel is highlighted throughout the space through their own photographs, which shows off their unique personality and style.

 
 
 

Game room, Hamptons NY

Assisted another designer, with a basement game room at the Hamptons Showhouse in 2012. Without many limitations the room is all about fantasy and pushing the boundaries with unexpected objects at every turn while giving an ode to traditional millwork and wall details such as the chair rail that wraps around the room. Working with galleries throughout New York to source these one of a kind pieces was an incredible way to show off the gorgeous work available right here in the city.

Starting with a blank canvas after a gut renovation, the clients wanted a serene minimalist feel in
this light-flooded 3 bedroom Penthouse. Using clean, light colors highlights the natural materials of the interior and the pieces themselves, giving the home the feel of a timeless oasis in the middle of a bustling Lower East Side.

This 1970’s Miami Mansion was renovated to strip it down to its original, elegant, simple core. For the design and style throughout the house it was all about accenting this beautiful original architecture by marrying the traditional lines of the foundational materials with soft organic furnishings and lush accents to create an inviting and modern winter retreat.

This couple wanted to stay true to their youth and style while accenting the traditional architectural elements of their new house. By adding lots of unexpected color and whimsical details, this young couple’s first home is both elegant and easy making it the perfect space to entertain, and grow into their life together.

For this large family that visits often it was important to make this pied-à-terre a home away from home. The clients wanted a warm, comfortable environment with rich colours, texture and bold light fixtures. Attention to details like the gold leafing in the dining room, and hand picked decorative accessories throughout makes the space intimate and personal.

 
 
 

The Future Path, Upstate New York

The client wanted this passive house (minimal environmental impact) in upstate New York to have an equally environmentally responsible styling. Using only vintage, repurposed or pieces from eco-responsible companies, the home has an approachable, warm, upstate style. With a mix of neutral and bold, vintage and modern, this “small footprint” has plenty of character.

A couple with a young baby really wanted to transform their Tribeca apartment into a functional, youthful and warm family home. By finding storage solutions and adding personal and uncommon touches, like bright wall colours and unique light fixtures throughout the space, its now a bright, clean and dynamic home for a growing family.

 
 
 

Tribeca Office, Manhattan

A non-profit organization, starting from an empty space, really wanted to create a non-traditional office design that was welcoming to employees and the families coming for services. The classic Tribeca brick building views were the inspiration for the custom ombre painted millwork desks, tying in the colours from outside to the interior space. As a new organization they had to make sure they had room to grow but also keep the space warm and intimate. Lots of colours, integrating a personal art collection and customised details makes this office space functional, flexible and as inviting as a home.

After a full building renovation in an iconic Upper West Side building, this model apartment was designed to capture and showcase the original architectural details, while bringing in updated colours and textures to give it a more contemporary feel. Warmer colours in the private areas of the apartment contrast with the more traditional color palate in the public spaces. The balance and seamless integration of old and the new make this gorgeous apartment timeless.
